The White Oak Crossing interchange (Exit 146) on Interstate 40 in Arkansas is one of the newest additions to the state’s highway network, officially opening to traffic in early 2023. Located between Maumelle and North Little Rock, this interchange was designed to improve connectivity and relieve congestion at nearby interchanges, particularly at AR-365 and I-430. The project included a full diamond interchange with on- and off-ramps in both directions, along with a new overpass bridge carrying White Oak Crossing over I-40. It provides direct access to growing residential areas and commercial developments west of the interstate, as well as offering a quicker route to Maumelle Boulevard via Counts Massie Road. Funded as part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program, this interchange plays a key role in supporting regional growth and traffic flow in the northwest Little Rock metro.
